waiting for tiarra

finally, a post! after almost a year… i was buried in reports, projects for the shop, wedding plans, grieving periods, and housekeeping. and now i am due to pop anytime! hahah! yes, we are awaiting the delivery of our first babyboo tiarra! but right now i am still at home, getting ready and trying to think of ways on how to make her come out. sssss talk about impatience! well, we are all really excited to see her and it overcomes all my anxiety about our delivery. bags are packed, car seems fine, and daddyboo has been a very supportive father. he has been taking care of me and tiarra even as she was a a dot in my uterus. there’ve been challenges along the way and there will be more. but we found that being sour doesn’t make it go away. it’s by talking and deciding together and by taking baby steps. sigh! i wish and hope tiarra will be strong, healthy, and happy baby. babyboo, when are you coming out to see us? we welcome you with warm loving arms.

i stumbled upon these two sites.  one is JManuel’s - Manuel Papel - a cut paper artist.  his works are amazing… very detailed…

and another is a site of three wonderful kids Isaac, Grace and Lily – Chicken Nugget Lemon Tooty.  i don’t have words to describe how very talented they are.

it’s inspiring to browse through their sites.  i feel the need to create something.  i’ll be cooking up projects for the shop soon.

it used to be like this…

i bought this a while back from Reg of Wedgienet.net. this cupcake bears tumbler was sold at a very reasonable price. i also bought sushi stickers from her. the package came with a free button pin [which i kind of misplaced :S. i think someone took it]. anyway, the design comes off as you unscrew the top. and you can design it yourself if you want. i’ve been itching to do my own [since i saw the starbucks diy tumblers] and i found that opportunity when my Pet Society birthday competition entry failed to place. i recycled my work and voila!

lulu’s not yet going home. she was so ready to get out of the hospital yesterday. she was dancinv and all. but then she had some fever today. apparently due to an infection. so she’s under observation again and back to antibiotics. poor lulu. she might stay for at least a day more.

Lulu Update

lulu is now allowed to sit. i guess her stitches must be quite healed and ready. but she’s still on a liquid diet – which ticks her off. her appetite is poor. well, i would show the same aversion if i’ve had tasteless soup for 5 days. hehehe… mom said she hasn’t pushed out bowel yet coz of her diet. we have yet to wait and observe how she does when permitted to eat solids as her intestinal surgery is safe to try out. the doctor has no word yet on when she’d be able to eat on a balanced diet nor when she’ll be dismissed. i hope it won’t take too long. and, that her body will cope well. i believe by then she’ll be very excited to share her experience especially when she goes back to school. being her talkative self, i will probably hear never-ending stories. until then
